A one-year project for rehabilitation of earthquake-affected families in North Sikkim, addressing mental trauma and environmental health hazards across the region. The initiative provided preventive, curative, and rehabilitative health care services to the disaster-affected population.
At a function organised by Khushi Centre for Rehabilitation & Research, Baichung Bhutia expressed gratitude to Yuvraj Singh for donating his bat to raise funds for Sikkim earthquake victims. Other cricketers also contributed jerseys and memorabilia to support the cause.
KCRR of Jawaharlal Nehru University organised a special interactive programme for earthquake-affected people of North Sikkim at Lingzya, focusing on long-term rehabilitation and community resilience.
