He took pre-mature retirement from army after 21 years of service at middle and top management level. He has 05 years of experience in corporate in Strategic planning and Business development in Defence & Aerospace sector.

He has vast experience of Disaster and Crisis Management. He has Fellowship of The Institution of Engineers, Master in Technology (Mechanical) & Master in Business Administration (Human Resource). He is a Graduate of Defence Services Staff College, Wellington and done prestigious professional courses in India and Abroad. He is expert in Defence Procurement Procedure, Logistic Management, Defence Offset Management and Human Resource Management.
In Corporate Sector, he is associated with the Joint Venture with foreign OEMs, Globally logistic Planning and Strategic business development. He is associated with number of NGOs and Non Profit Organizations to work at grass root level for up-liftment of society.
Col Vinod Kumar (Retd) is the Project Head of Disaster Management Wing of Khushi Centre who has been associated with several Disaster Relief Operations in Army and Civil. His team is doing an exemplary job in the management of training, logistic and operation execution of Disaster Management Wing of Khushi Centre.
